CBSE Exam Format Changes

The CBSE has changed its examination formats to include practical assessments. The curriculum and preparation for such exams will no doubtedly force the student to adjust his learning technique due to this change. This is a step in the right direction – out with the obsolete model of test-taking and in with the more modern, logical, and pragmatic form of examination focused on real-world application. It’s about time that such a change took place. Needless to say, Praadis Education has been ahead of the curve for some time.

Our program revolves around a holistic approach to education that keys in on practical assessments and student motivation. Praadis Education has created a platform that provides access to material that is geared towards the full spectrum of learners; auditory, visual, social, kinaesthetic, and reading/writing. So for auditory learners we created Story-telling sessions that introduce important subject concepts in story form whereas for visual learners we create Virtual Reality 3D Videos that give unparalleled insights into subject topics. Most importantly, we’ve created Augmented Reality games that take learning to another level – through gaming students learn usually difficult subject matter with relative ease.

It’s important to mention that India is now a global leader when it comes to education with expectations of nearly 315 million students currently enrolled. Of these students, only 35 million will reach college; that’s roughly ten percent and this excludes those children that are not attending school. So the actual figure of those who discontinue school or never even enrolled is staggering. Praadis Education wants to change this outcome – Our application is meant for every student. The fact is Praadis Education’s app allows the freedom to study anywhere and at any time. Let Praadis Education help your child reach his full potential. Is a Bagless Education Better than a Traditional Education?

The overload on books by private schools is almost double of what is required by NCERT. But with PIE there is no need for books because all the content of the textbook is inside a mobile application on a smartphone that fits in your hand. Students don't learn more just because they have more books! The huge number of textbooks required by schools is ridiculous and has no impact in a student’s actual education. It just seems as though children will learn through osmosis – just put the book to your head and it sinks in. They point of an education is to mold a child into a critical thinker and well-rounded adult – not turn a child into an encyclopedia. Facts show that with the rise in private schools in India that the requirement of school books has also increased. All this creates undue pressure on students. Students schoolbags are getting heavier year after year. For a KG student, the requirement is to purchase around 10 – 12 books that need to be brought to and from schoo...

Does Use Of The Praadis Education App (PIE) Improve Future Employability?

Praadis Institute of  Education is a nextgen Edtech startup that focuses on personalized and gamified learning utilizing AI, VR, and AR technologies.  The PIE app has multiple learning modules that not just teach the concept but motivate the student to learn and excel because of gamification.  The interesting part of this is the long-term effect of gamification – it is shown in multiple research studies that gamification actually changes the emotional connection that a student has to his studies.  The student becomes engaged and motivated to learn instead of viewing studies as an obligation or chore.   Eventually with practice our design implicitly teaches students how to learn. Learning is a truly immersive process – to master any subject one must learn the theory and then gain practical experience first-hand of the subject matter.  Our students will master their course material because of the design of the subject matter.  Modules like st...
